The Sun joins Jupiter for its annual rendezvous, this time in Aquarius. It’s the start of a new voyage, a search for new ideas and new worlds, especially anything that points us towards humanity, social causes.
Jupiter has a reputation for luck and good fortune in astrology if not its generosity. But while Jupiter was in Capricorn the past year, it was hard to feel lucky, especially as Jupiter picked up on the energies of Saturn and Pluto.
It’s a new year as well as a new element. Jupiter is in an Air sign now and reveals to us that we need to seek out new connections, especially new friends and social networks. Aquarius is also a sign that’s known for science and technology as well as humanitarian endeavors. Perhaps we will be inspired to help others today, especially those less fortunate in our communities as well as on a global level. Jupiter wants us to think big.
Tomorrow’s also a Leo Full Moon, one that wants us to be bold, individuate, and create something new. Even though we’re in Aquarius Season, with its global vision, we can’t lose what makes us a unique part of the whole. And with Uranus and Jupiter in the mix, we may be feeling a little extra.
