The Aquarius Sun makes a square to Uranus. We’re breaking out of old patterns and getting a flash of insight and awareness. But we may also feel a push to leave behind an old version of self.
One of the signatures of the astrology of 2021, something that I discussed in my recent webinar, is a square between Saturn in Aquarius and Uranus in Taurus. It’s an aspect that creates a friction between this new life that’s been opening up the past couple of years and an old life that still pulls us back.
Although the first of three squares between Saturn and Uranus won’t begin until February 17, we’re feeling this energy in different ways. Plus, today’s square between the Sun and Uranus as well as the upcoming Leo Full Moon on January 28 begins to put this story front and center.
Think back to 2018-2019. Something new began at that time, even if it isn’t so obvious at the moment. A new chapter or new life started to unfold. It could have been a new career or relationship or drive to express who you truly are.
2021 is a year where we have to bring these new changes into form, to step more fully into this new phase, and resolve any divide, tension, or conflict. Since Uranus is in Taurus, we can’t play it safe or small in a certain area of our life. (Not sure where? Read Uranus in Taurus: Sign by Sign.)
