Fresh off a Leo Full Moon, everything is illuminated. Leo loves to socialize, have fun, and spend time with friends. With Uranus about to turn direct, we may be in for a jolt or a push for a new perspective. It’s a week of evolutionary energies and life wants to evolve.
Between Pluto newly in Aquarius and Uranus direct in Taurus, the outer planets — aka evolutionary planets — are directing a lot of our experiences this week. We’re only at the beginning of a story with Pluto, one that will play out over the next 20 years.
What about Uranus? You may recall that Uranus has been in Taurus since May 2018, March 2019. For some of us, those months or the time just after those months mark a major shift of narrative. For all of us, Uranus has been showing us that something needs to awaken or reinvent. Perhaps our careers or our relationships. Maybe we’ve had to reinvent our health and how we take care of ourselves. (Read Uranus in Taurus: Sign by Sign for more information.)
We’ve got nearly six years of Uranus in Taurus at this point. Maybe we can see a very different life that has emerged since then. (I quit my day job in March 2019 to become a full-time astrologer after doing it as a side hustle for seven years.) But in 2025, on July 7, Uranus will make its first arrival in Gemini and commence a new story.
With Uranus direct this weekend, look for the story. How does it connect to 2018 and 2019? How are events, realizations, and awakenings connected to something larger?
Mercury and Mars in Capricorn also square the Lunar Nodes this weekend. We’re at another crossroads, another turning point.
