While yesterday’s Cancer Full Moon may still be touching on emotional and psychic points within as well as around, the Moon has moved onto Leo. We reach a point in the sky activated by a recent Mars-Pluto opposition. It’s a day for inner reflection.
I mention the recent opposition between Mars in Leo and Pluto and Aquarius because, one, it made for a bit of an intense start of the year. Pluto is the energy of gut-level transformation. Two, the planets are still in orb, which is how we say in astrology that they are still within a close enough of a connection. Do we feel their push to reform and transform something in our lives?
Leo, ruled by the Sun, is normally a sign that likes to shine. But through the lens of Capricorn Season, Leo pulls us inward. The light of the Sun becomes inner revelation. The Moon finds substance and nourishment in the hidden parts within.
In other news, Venus in Pisces makes a square to Jupiter in Gemini, an aspect that normally is known for indulgence or even over indulgence, but in this case, with Pisces and Gemini activated, we may be searching for answers and reflecting on meaning and purpose. With Venus’s conjunction to Saturn later this week, this searching may lead to a need to make a commitment or serious decision around January 18.
