The Capricorn Moon takes us into the dark of the moon, a time to reflect and shed the past. We’re closing out a lunar month that began with a powerful alignment to Pluto, which cleared a lot of psychic space.
Pluto has a habit of removing things out that are in the way, sometimes in a way that feels messy or confrontational. But Pluto insists. It holds a mirror to something we may not wanted to look at, from a relationship to a job to a family member. Pluto it also clears old emotions, memories, traumas, and pains, bringing them to the surface for a release.
As we look back at the past four weeks since the Capricorn New Moon on January 13, what do we see? Feel? Is there space that wasn’t there before? Look again. What do we do with this space? Thursday’s new moon will help us craft a vision that will take us into the future.
Another thing to consider is today’s quiet sextile between Saturn and Chiron. If we’re closing out a lunar month that had us clearing things on a soul level, even if it was something we weren’t consciously aware of, today’s supportive energy from Saturn and Chiron helps us to release old knots from the past.
Chiron is an energy that speaks to a root pain or suffering that all humans have. But Chiron also says that we can take what makes us suffer the most – self worth, lack of courage, the pain of the past — and use it like a medicine to uplift, heal, and empower others.
Time to let go of the old knots.
