Uranus turns direct at 27 Taurus. It’s a day if not a week for revelations, shakeups, and profound new insights. The ground may be proverbially shifting beneath our feet. With Uranus direct, we begin to close out a story that began in 2018 and 2019.
The world, if not our world, seems very different than it was in 2018 and 2019. That’s not to say that Uranus has changed our world, but its time in Taurus — starting May 15, 2018 and again on March 6, 2019 — has coincided with a transformation and reinvention of how we live our lives and what we value.
Taurus rules over our material lives, particularly the fundamentals — food, water, shelter. Taurus the money we earn and our relationship with it. It’s the resources we have access to as well.
If you are a Taurus and Taurus rising (or even a Leo, Scorpio, and Aquarius) many things may look fundamentally different than they did seven years ago, even if the changes are only internal. (As a Scorpio Sun, my life looks nothing like it did at the start of 2018. Different job, different state, different life circumstances.)
Taurus is a sign that is driven instinctively to create security and stability. It’s how the seeds of life thrive so that they can nourish and support us. But, as you may know, there have been a lot of ups and downs in the past few years. The role of Uranus has been to create evolution and new consciousness.
When Uranus leaves Taurus on April 25, it will leave a sign that it will not return to in our lifetime. Uranus will also arrive in Gemini and bring its energy of reinvention and transformation to a sign that governs over how we think and learn, move and travel, speak and communicate. In the meantime, a larger story begins to come to a conclusion. Plus, with Saturn also at the end of Pisces, it’s one of the reasons why 2026 is an extraordinary year. Different threads of narrative are beginning to converge into one point. It’s a year of new endings and new beginnings.
