Mars in Aquarius squares off with Jupiter in Taurus, a point of friction in the sky that may push us to advocate for a cause, creating tension between differing points of view. There may be a demand for empathy, an opportunity to let go of a useless argument.
This is Mars’s second point of friction with planets in the fixed signs, this after a powerful conjunction between Mars and Pluto in Aquarius on February 14. Next is a dynamic square between Mars and Uranus in Taurus on March 9, all part of a larger story on shift and change in a key area of our lives, courtesy of Uranus and Pluto, namely Pluto’s recent arrival in Aquarius on January 20.
As you’ve been hearing me say, we’re in a new era. Yes, a big statement, but the last time Pluto was in Aquarius was two centuries ago. Its change of signs a month ago turned our attention to a key area of our lives, depending on where Aquarius is in our astrology. It could be our career, our relationships, our money. It all depends on our Sun and rising sign, even if we have no planets in the sign of Aquarius. (Read Pluto in Aquarius: Sign by Sign for more information.)
Take note of where you may be feeling the stirrings of a tectonic shift in your life, even if it’s internal instead of external.
