Saturn reaches 29 Aquarius, the last degree of the sign. Over the coming week, we’re wrapping up a chapter that began in March 2020, consolidating the lessons learned about community and friendship, social issues and causes, humanity and the collective.
Despite Saturn’s sometimes difficult reputation, it’s the planet that gets us to build something concrete with our lives. This can be tangible, such as assets and material stability, or intangible, such as a stronger sense of faith or direction in the world. We need Saturn to grow and mature, often giving us the necessary resistance to step up in our lives. And it’s the harbinger of major life milestones and achievements. So, here we are, Saturn’s grand conclusion to its time in Aquarius. All this week, Saturn’s at 29 degrees, the last degree of Aquarius. We may get a sense of what we’ve been building or see something come to fruition. Saturn can easily be a promotion as much as a course correction, all in advance of Saturn’s arrival in Pisces on March 7. We also may be feeling a sense of clearing out and preparing for the next chapter. Saturn’s not the only planet at 29 degrees. We have Pluto at 29 Capricorn, wrapping up a story that began in January 2008 and preparing for the start of a major 20-year chapter when Pluto arrives in Aquarius on March 23.
The Moon’s also in Gemini today. With Mercury meeting up with Saturn in Aquarius on March 2, we’re feeling the weight of time and commitment. We may have a major choice to make this week.
