Welcome to Pisces Season! The Sun arrives in the last sign of the zodiac and we begin our journey into the end of the zodiac. Pisces is the two fishes, a symbol that represents the ultimate duality of life, that we are both physical and non-physical, matter and spirit.
When we reach Pisces, we’ve reached the end of a cycle that began last March. As a result, it’s time to reflect on the months before. What have we learned? What do we need to release before we begin a new astrological year on March 20, 2026?
Pisces is ruled by Jupiter and this season we find Jupiter over in Cancer, the sign of its exaltation as well as a fellow water sign. It’s a season to tap into our creativity, to spend time with family, and strengthen our emotional bonds with others. (Read Jupiter in Cancer: Sign by Sign.)
As a note, this is our first Pisces Season in four years that we haven’t had Saturn in Pisces, which made for a heavier lens that pulled at questions about meaning and purpose, faith and spirituality. Gone is Neptune, too, which was in Pisces from 2012 until just this past January 26.
That said, it is important to note that just yesterday we had a solar eclipse at 28 Aquarius. Not only are we officially between the eclipses — there will be a lunar eclipse on March 3 — but the time around the eclipses can be charged with energy. Take a leaf out of Pisces’s book and use this time to slow down, nurture ourselves, and check in with our intuition.
