Venus changes signs, trading Capricorn’s need for status and power for Aquarius’s humanitarian side. This is a Venus that loves friendship, community, and social connection. It values equity and justice.
We’re also starting to get quite a crowd of planets in Aquarius. Venus joins the Sun, Mercury, Jupiter, and Saturn, making for five planets in Aquarius — that’s a lot of planets in one sign. That means a certain part of your life has a lot of emphasis, feels busy, or dominates your experiences.
If you recall, Saturn entered Aquarius on December 17 and opened a two year chapter of working on social and humanitarian themes, but also showed you that a certain area of your life now needs attention. Not sure where? Read Saturn in Aquarius: Sign by Sign. That area of your life now has five planets in it.
(Side note. For those who have an intermediate understanding of astrology, I wrote an article on the Great Mutation and conjunction of Jupiter and Saturn in Aquarius for the winter 2021 issue of The Ingress, a publication of the New York City Chapter of National Council for Geocosmic Research [NCGR].)
That said, all these planets in Aquarius have been creating stress in the sky with Mars and Uranus in Taurus. The Sun also squares Mars today, which means that we may be feeling a little bit of conflict. Are we safe? Do we have what we need? Is the ground beneath our feet stable as we navigate all these ups and downs?
I’ll be talking about this and more in my weekly Facebook Live today, Monday, February 1 at 6 pm EST. You can watch the replay on YouTube, IGTV, or listen on Spotify.
