The Sun squares Neptune in Pisces, right on the lunar nodes. We’re at a turning point, especially as we get ready for next week’s solar eclipse. How do we move forward? Do we have faith? Can we let go of the beliefs that are holding us back?
Neptune is an interesting influence in astrology. As part of the outer planets, which is to say all the planets discovered in modern times, its job is to help us evolve and open up our consciousness. If Uranus shocks us awake and gets us out of the status quo then Neptune dissolves the boundaries between this world and the next. It’s a planet that is deeply spiritual, but also reveals where we can get stuck, caught in illusions, or lost.
Seeing how the Sun is squaring Neptune during the solar eclipse, there’s a deep story coming up around faith and truth. And when I see the Sun and Neptune together in astrology, we have to let go of something. Maybe it’s a limiting belief since the Sun’s in Sagittarius. Or a way of seeing the world. Neptune asks, is it possible that there’s a higher plan, a divine plan that better than you can imagine for yourself right now?
The thing about Neptune is that there’s what we want on an ego level and then there’s Divine needs and wants. Perhaps we’re feeling that conflict right now, a conflict between a higher calling or purpose versus what we want? Something to think about in the coming days. Use this energy to meditate, reflect, and search within for answers.
