Fresh off a Capricorn New Moon, we’re in a new lunar month, one dedicated to putting our lives in order, setting goals, and having a reality check. As we wind down the year and prepare for 2023, what needs to change? What old patterns are ready to end?
That’s the thing about this Capricorn New Moon and the lunar month ahead. It brings to the forefront the energies of Saturn square Uranus. Yes, Saturn is pulling away from Uranus, but they are still very much in aspect. (Read my Capricorn New Moon report.)
While Capricorn and its ruler Saturn speak to the structures that shape and support our lives, the energy of Uranus demands reinvention, revolution, and breakthroughs. Capricorn has a tendency to want to hold onto the past or tradition, but Uranus has no such sentimentality.
Keep this in mind as you physically, emotionally, and spiritually prepare for 2023. A lot of the shocks, changes, and upsets of 2021-2022 clear space and prepare us for 2023. Use today’s Aquarius Moon to create a vision of the future, but to also get clear about what’s valuable to bring forward into the future and what’s not.
