Welcome to Capricorn Season! Lost in yesterday’s historic alignment between Jupiter and Saturn was the Sun’s arrival in Capricorn, kicking off solstice. Here in the northern hemisphere it’s the return of the light after increasingly dark days.
The Moon’s also in action oriented Aries, a reminder that Mars is still in Aries. Yes, Mars has spent nearly six months in Aries, the sign of courage and bravery as well as aggression and anger. The thing to keep in mind is that while Saturn and Jupiter have moved onto Aquarius, Pluto still remains. Tomorrow’s square between Mars and Pluto may be tense, hot tempered, and emotional. (Note that Mars will leave Aries for Taurus on January 6, 2021.)
That said, we may be moving fast today. We’re navigating themes around family and emotional connection. We’re getting things done in the home. We may be feeling impatient, too.
In the meantime, let’s not forget that we’re now in a major new chapter of time. Saturn (and Jupiter) are in Aquarius. I spoke more about this in my video update for the astrology of December 21-27, 2020. You can watch the replay here, on YouTube, IGTV, or listen on Spotify.
