As the Sagittarius Sun comes to the end of the sign, it makes a square to Neptune in Pisces, a point of friction that blurs the boundaries between the material and spiritual worlds. Our experiences may feel otherworldly, dreamy, or tiring.

Pisces is going to be a continued primary focus into the New Year. If you recall, Saturn has been in Pisces since March 2023. And Saturn, as the planet of work and lessons, means that we’ve been learning and working on Pisces’s emotional and spiritual lessons since then.

Joining the mix will be the Lunar Nodes in Pisces as well as Virgo starting on January 11, 2025. The Nodes in Pisces-Virgo will mean that the eclipses will also be in those signs in the New Year. In fact, we already had a lunar eclipse in Pisces just this past September 17, a preview of themes and archetypes that we will be navigating in 2025 — compassion, spirituality, the search for deeper fulfillment and purpose.

Just as the North Node arrives in Pisces in January, Neptune prepares to leave Pisces for the first time since February 2012. Yes, Neptune changes signs in 2025, arriving in Aries on March 30. (Neptune hasn’t been in Aries in 150 years.) Neptune isn’t the only outer planet changing signs in 2025. We’ll also see Saturn and Uranus following suit.

Last night I recorded a live webinar on The Astrology of 2025, your first deep dive into what it means for Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto all to change signs within months or weeks of each other. You can still get the replay, which includes a sign-by-sign guide in the link below.

If you are in AUSTRALIA or NZ, this forecast applies approximately for December 19, 2024.
