Mars moves into Sagittarius and we start the week with a boost of energy. Mars adds fire to Sagittarius’s passion and conviction, activating recent eclipse degrees and bringing twists and turns to the coming days.
Over the last 18-months, the South Node of the Moon has been in Sagittarius and during this time we’ve had to navigate strong themes around truth and meaning, faith and belief. Sagittarius helps us to see the world, yet the South Node and its eclipses have revealed where we don’t always see eye-to-eye with one another.
That said, Mars in Sagittarius has a quick wit and humor, but also a tendency to “shoot its mouth off.” Thankfully Mercury also changes signs today, arriving in Capricorn, which gives us a more level-headed mentality.
Mercury in Capricorn weighs its words as well as its choices carefully. It calls upon its maturity as well as its ability to plan for the future. It teaches us to be the master of our choices.
That said, we’ve got a lot going on this week. Two planets changing signs is indicative of a shift in the narrative. Add in Venus Retrograde later this week and a Gemini Full Moon and the story is indeed changing in some way. (Read more about Mars in Sagittarius in my sign-by-sign guide.)
