Mercury arrives in Capricorn, a sign that gives the planet of voice and communication a sharp eye and a need to speak clearly and precisely. With Mercury getting ready to turn retrograde in two weeks time, Capricorn is a sign that we’ll have to do some work.
Yes, it’s almost that time of year again, and I don’t mean the holidays. Mercury turns retrograde at 8 Capricorn on December 13 and will spend the next six weeks in and out of Capricorn and Sagittarius. We’ll be retracing our steps soon enough, returning to events from late November and early December. It would be worthwhile to take notes. Mercury always brings up something for us to review and reevaluate.
And so this is just your friendly reminder that life goes on during Mercury Retrograde. We don’t need to grind things to a halt. Note that a retrograde is a yin phase instead of yang; the energy is receptive instead of active, intuitive instead of rational.
We need Mercury Retrograde. Otherwise life and precious information and sparks of awareness would pass us by. Use this time wisely and even sacredly.
