The Moon trades Virgo for Libra, a sign that will be a major focus in the coming weeks. The spotlight is on relationships as well as how we connect, socialize, and interact. It’s a busy day, one that may give us a preview of events and themes in October.
In the absence of major aspects this week, the Moon is driving the conversation. Every two or three days, it moves through a different zodiac sign, like clockwork. A new zodiac sign means that there’s a new vibe or energy to navigate, like ups and downs in the astrological weather.
The Moon tugs at our subconscious memory. It invokes the past as much as it invokes our wants and needs. When the Moon is in Libra, we connect to the energy of Venus, a planet that helps us to think of others, to be gracious and polite, to make time for beauty and design. It’s a time to focus on relationships in all their forms.
If you recall, the recent eclipses have been bouncing back and forth between Libra and Aries, the relationship axis, since 2023. Plus, we’re two months out from a solar eclipse in Libra on October 2. Take note of experiences and feelings today and how they may not only evoke events from the previous eclipses in Libra on March 25, 2024 and October 14, 2023, but may preview events to come this October.
If you are in AUSTRALIA or NZ, this forecast applies approximately for August 9, 2024.
