As we wrap up the lunar month, today’s square between the Sun and Uranus provides a potent seed for the August 8 new moon. Think about what you want to reinvent; change the story. Set this energy in motion.
When the moon’s in its balsamic phase, which is to say, a few days before the new moon, the lunar light is a mere sliver. It’s typically a time to wrap things up, rest, reflect, and prepare for the next cycle.
So today’s square between the Sun and Uranus in Taurus doesn’t have the same feeling to it. Instead, it may be giving us big ideas, pulling at something within, helping us form a vision of what needs to change, all of this providing a seed that takes root after August 8. Then again, maybe we’re feeling restless and can’t wait.
A transit to Uranus can sometimes feel like a crisis of authenticity, especially in aspect to the Sun. Do we know who we are? Have we been trying to fit ourselves into something that we’re not? (Read more about Uranus in Taurus in my sign-by-sign guide.)
Things may feel different after the new moon on August 8.
If you are in AUSTRALIA or NZ, this forecast applies approximately for August 7-9.
