Welcome to Virgo Season. The Sun arrived in the sixth sign of the zodiac on August 22, taking us from the fire of Leo Season to the grounded and earthy practicality of Virgo. Buoyed by a recent new moon, we turn our focus to our day-to-day lives.
This isn’t your typical Virgo Season. Yes, it’s still a good time to make our health and wellness a priority, to start projects and to create order and structure in our lives. But this is a Virgo Season that comes with two eclipses, a lunar eclipse on September 7 at 15 Pisces and a solar eclipse on September 21 at 29 Virgo.
What this means is that we may need to adopt new structures in September and beyond, that we may have to reorder and reorganize because the old order no longer works. Health and wellness may move to the top of our priority list. Seeing how Pisces, in particular, is driven to seek meaning and purpose, we may be reevaluating our lives over the next few months. (Note that we last had eclipses in Pisces-Virgo in 2016-2017, 2006-2007, 1997-1998, 1988-1989 ….)

In other news, Venus leaves Cancer for Leo. If Venus is what we love, value, and invest time and money in, then in Leo we value fun, we invest in romance and play. Venus will be very active in the coming days, connecting with Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto. Relationships and values may demand evolution.
