The Sun opposes Saturn. We’re either up against a wall or feeling the push to take the next step up. Saturn demands more responsibility, commitment, and accountability. If something is not working, it’s a hard stop.
Although I love Saturn, it has a reputation for roadblocks in astrology for a reason. Saturn merely wants life to be in balance so that it can flow. But if something is not in balance, or not equitable or sustainable, Saturn can come down hard. Something breaks down. Something gets denied.
On the flip side, Saturn often marks life milestones and shows up when people get promoted, make a major move, get married, or have a baby, for example. So maybe we’re reaching a milestone this week or a push to do better, get real, or reach towards the future. And think of this as one of our many check-ins with our Saturn in Aquarius story. But we can’t look at Saturn without looking at Uranus, a planet that’s been in a hard square to Saturn all year long. Whatever milestones, choices, or hard stops we’re navigating this week are part of a story of change that will weave its way through our experiences in 2021. In short, there may be some bumpy astrology ahead or some major turning points this week and into next.
