Mars squares Neptune, a reminder that our actions, despite our best intentions, don’t always align with the higher plan. It’s a day to set aside ego, to let go of our need to control. If we listen to our intuition, we may see a better solution to a current problem.

That’s the thing about Neptune’s influence in the astrology;  it’s a planet that doesn’t mix well with ego. When we do, there can be distortion or confusion. Sunday’s Aries New Moon with Mars square Neptune means that, in order to get to where we want to go, sometimes we have to cut our losses. Mars square Neptune also highlights having the wisdom to pick and choose our battles.

Instead it’s a call to let go and surrender, to hope and have faith that there’s something better out there. But nothing can come in when we’re standing in the way.

If we feel like a sore spot is getting pressed, that’s because Mercury conjuncts Chiron in Aries today. We have to have the courage to say what we need to say, to stand up for ourselves, or communicate honestly and compassionately.

As we go into the new moon this weekend, we’re on the verge of a powerful new beginning, one that threads back to a story that began over a decade ago.

If you are in AUSTRALIA or NZ, this forecast applies approximately for April 10-12.
