We start the week off with Mercury Direct in Pisces at 26 degrees, a shift in cosmic gears in advance of Venus Direct on April 12. When planets go from retrograde to direct, it’s time to integrate what we’ve discovered over the last few weeks.

Retrogrades are part of the natural ebb and flow of the sky. But one of the features of the first half of 2025 has been Mars Retrograde. While Mars has been direct as of February 23, it’s still tracing its way through the sky, recovering ground it last visited in January as well as all the way back to October-November.

Mercury Retrograde happens more frequently than Mars Retrograde, every three months in the case of Mercury versus every two years for Mars. And Mercury (and Venus) Retrograde have added to a particular vibe the first few months this year — a lot of reworking, internal reflection, and reconsideration.

Mercury, now direct, pivots right next to Saturn in Pisces. Saturn is a little more specific than Mercury. We have decisions to make and choices to commit to. Conversations may strike a serious tone. Whatever conclusions we are coming to now may take until April 16 to start moving when Mercury arrives in Aries.

As mentioned, Venus is also retrograde, a time when we typically review our relationships as well as what we value or invest our time in. Unlike Mercury, we still have a few more days to reevaluate. And Venus is also conjunct Saturn. We have serious options to consider.
