A Leo Moon takes us into the weekend, a Moon that wants to play and have fun. With the Moon picking up on the energies of the Taurus Sun, we’re seeking out the comforts of home or bringing our creative energies towards what really nourishes us.
By the weekend, the Moon’s in Virgo, a very different energy, but one that receives support from the Taurus Sun, a fellow earth sign. This is the perfect energy to work on projects in the home environment, to get things done that have been lingering. Mercury Retrograde reminds us to go back, rework, or gain a new perspective.
We’re also in the buildup to Pluto’s retrograde turn on May 1 at 0 Aquarius. This is significant because this is one of our first checkpoints with Pluto in Aquarius and the story it’s opening for the next twenty years. We had our first taste of Pluto in Aquarius, however subtle, when Pluto first entered the sign on March 23. (Read Pluto in Aquarius: Sign by Sign.)
Here we are, almost at its first retrograde turn. Pay attention to what’s starting to come up, what demands reformation and transformation, which is the powerful role that Pluto fulfills in astrology.
If you are in AUSTRALIA or NZ, this forecast applies approximately for April 29-May 1, 2023.
