The Moon leaves Pisces for Aries, bringing us into the final days of a lunar month that began on April 1. Time to reflect on the new beginnings we initiated then. The Taurus New Moon gives them form.
Typically an Aries Moon needs to move and get things done, but we’re slowing down in advance of the new moon on April 30. With Mars, the ruler of Aries, over in Pisces, we’re searching within for the answer to larger questions, longing for something we can’t quite name.
The new moon on April 30 is also a powerful solar eclipse, one that picks up on the energies of Uranus in Taurus and its four-year-long story of reinvention and radical shifts. Over the coming days and into the next six months, we’re going to see this story move forward quite possibly in dramatic ways. (Not sure what the story is? Read Uranus in Taurus: Sign by Sign.)
Don’t be surprised if life feels a bit charged at the moment and our interactions with friends and loved ones has a deeper subtext. While eclipses aren’t rare, they do punctuate the astrology for the year, swiftly closing and opening doors. People come in and out of lives. Major decisions are made. Everything can turn on a dime.
