Tomorrow, Pluto turns retrograde. As it nears the end of its journey in Capricorn after 14 years, we are still tearing down and remaking the structures of our lives. It’s time to confront what we haven’t been seeing.
That’s what Pluto does; it holds a mirror to us. Is says that, in order for us to grow and evolve on a soul level, we have to peer into our blindspots, projections, and dark unconscious desires. Pluto also shows us what we have disowned within, especially if it’s in the way of us moving forward.
So be present with what’s coming up right now. How does it reveal something you haven’t been seeing? Is it buried rage or shame? Is it an unhealthy relationship with power and control? The act of owning it is a step towards a powerful transmutation.
Saturday’s eclipse is about to launch us into new territory. Time to prepare, reflect on our relationship all things Taurus — money, resource, material stability, fertility, abundance, and pleasure. They will be big themes in the coming days, weeks, and months.
That said, Mercury reaches the end of Taurus today, a sign it’s been traveling through since April 10. In Taurus, Mercury learned to take its time, to accumulate, and savor life’s many experiences. Come tomorrow, Mercury leaps into Gemini and finds its restless curiosity and need to move and explore. Note that Mercury will turn retrograde at 4 Gemini on May 10.
