The Moon moves through Cancer today, a complement to Taurus Season, two signs that, together, help us to create stability and security, bring comfort and pleasure, and anchor in through home and family. Reach for something solid as the current shifts.
While a Cancer Moon likes to take it easy, especially with a Taurus Sun, the Moon is coming up to Mars today, a planet that has been in Cancer since late March. This may add a little emotional tension to the mix and may bring up old emotions, anything that touches on the past, family, and memory.
Mars in Cancer is very “needy”; not necessarily in a negative way. It just has a strong if not primal desire to feel safe and secure, to protect the role of home and family in its life.
Additionally, Mars in Cancer played a staring role in the April 20 Aries solar eclipse and the Moon-Mars conjunction may be yet another ripple of eclipse energy that opens and closes doors in our lives.
That said, we’re getting support from Saturn today. Look for help from mentor figures or someone in your community, especially someone older.
