We’re in the dark of the moon and the lunar light is at its most faint. Using this quiet pause to reflect, we go inward, we release and prepare. With tomorrow’s Aries New Moon on the horizon, we’re about to enter a lunar month that will spotlight new beginnings.
In this dark of the moon, Mercury and Neptune align in Aries, a conjunction that marks their first time together in the sign since May 1874. That said, Mercury and Neptune are a fusion of the analytical mind and the intuitive and spiritual mind. It is the aspects of mediums, poets, and artists — a reminder to tap into our intuition by getting quiet through a meditation or a contemplative practice. Art may also provide a way to tap more deeply into our innermost feelings.
As much as Aries Season has been about new beginnings, the real new beginnings will happen with the energy of the Aries New Moon, a focal point for the action of Mars in Aries as well as a total of seven planets in Aries.
April will be a crossroads. When we look back we will see how something new has entered our lives, even if internally.
