Venus squares off with Saturn, an aspect that has a reputation for pumping the breaks. For all of Venus’s multitude of ideas and options, Saturn urges us to focus on what’s practical. It’s a need to commit to what’s right or recalibrate what’s not working.
While Saturn can feel like a buzzkill for Venus in Gemini, instead it’s a reminder that Saturn actually loves relationships. In traditional terms, Saturn is exalted in Libra, which is to say that Saturn does its best work in Libra, the sign of relationships. And which planet rules Libra? Venus.
Life needs relationship and connection. Life also needs options. How do we use Saturn’s energy to edit, get intentional, and get serious? Whatever choices we’re making, they also need to honor Saturn in Pisces, which means honoring what’s in our hearts and souls.
Sometimes the things that make sense on paper are not what makes sense in our hearts.
We’re also beginning to wrap up the lunar month, using the Aquarius Moon today and tomorrow to peer into the future and focus on our hopes and dreams for the rest of the year. A Pisces Moon on Sunday brings us into the dark of the moon, to reflect and meditate and get quiet.
We’re six days out from a solar eclipse. Life’s about to get interesting.
If you are in AUSTRALIA or NZ, this forecast applies approximately for April 15-17, 2023.
