The Cancer Sun squares the Lunar Nodes, a crossing that marks the midpoint of the eclipses, a period three months after and three months before an eclipse that acts as a portal. Time bends. People come in and out of our lives. It’s a preview of October.
If you recall, it’s been three months since a solar eclipse on April 8 as well as a lunar eclipse on March 25, one in Aries, the other opposite in Libra. These two signs, Aries and Libra, are the relational axis of the zodiac. They speak to the natural give and take between two people, the importance of standing up for ourselves and having a strong sense of self as much as it is important to learn to share and support the needs of others.
On October 2, we’ll have a solar eclipse at 10 Libra, which is not only our final eclipse in Libra in this series, but one that highlights past themes in relationships, old connections, and a need to remake or transform how we connect, interact, and socialize. It’s part of a link in a chain that not only includes the Libra lunar eclipse on March 25, earlier this year, but a Libra solar eclipse from October 14, 2023.
Look for eclipse energy this week and into next, especially after the Cancer New Moon on July 5. It’s just the next chapter in an unfolding story as well as a preview of October’s eclipse to come.
If you are in AUSTRALIA or NZ, this forecast applies approximately for July 4, 2024.
