The Moon trades Sagittarius for Capricorn. Our big Sag visions get a reality check. Capricorn, after all, is an earth sign. Its deep and sometimes rigid practicalities help us to build for the future. Use today to get organized and to put things in order.
A couple of things to note about the astrology this week. Mars is about to turn retrograde at 6 Leo on December 6. Personally, I think Mars Retrograde is a period to be more mindful of than Mercury Retrograde, which gets way more press.
Mars is the planet of action. It helps us to move forward, to reach our target, to identify our desires. When it’s retrograde, it doesn’t mean that we have no desire or that we can’t reach our targets, instead it means that we need to be conscious of our relationship with Mars. Sometimes we have lost our desires or feel confused about our targets. Mars Retrograde helps us to examine the inner reasons.
Note that Mars will be retrograde from December 6, 2024 until February 25, 2025; from 6 Leo to 17 Cancer.
The other thing is that Neptune will turn direct on December 7 at 27 degrees Pisces. As a result, there are a lot of moving pieces this week. Neptune, however, pulls at more emotional and spiritual threads, in contrast to Mars Retrograde in Leo. As a result, we may feel more sensitive and intuitive this week, our dreams more vivid.
