Welcome to the Sagittarius New Moon, which is also a solar eclipse! This is the time in the lunar calendar when we not only turn our attention to matters of faith, truth, and wisdom, but open up a powerful new chapter that lasts the coming six months.
Jupiter joins Pluto in Capricorn, a planet that has demanded a profound level of transformation this year, for its final match-up. Alongside Saturn, these three planets have reshaped our world, our faith, our sense of order. We must transform yet again.
This week Mercury returns to Scorpio, a sharp lens for the planet of communication and ideas. We’re also wrapping up the lunar month and preparing for a Scorpio New Moon on November 15, just after Mars finally turns direct in Aries.
We start the week with a practical Virgo Moon, one that wants to get things checked off the to-do list. With Mercury still in contact with Saturn, there’s more pressure to set limits and boundaries, put things into order, and create more fairness and equity.
We start the week off with a Pisces Moon, one that plays into Scorpio Season’s tendency for psychic activity and spiritual connection. We’re pulling back the veil today, feeling, intuiting, and sensing something unseen. We’re more sensitive, too.
The Moon slips into Sagittarius and we’re feeling element Fire. Between the Sun in Leo and Mars in Aries, we’re all ideas and inspiration, opinions and beliefs. This energy can motivate and create, but it can also ignite and inflame tensions.
Another Pisces Moon day; another day to rest, recharge, and reconnect to our spirituality. That said, this may not be the most relaxing of Pisces Moons, what with Jupiter still conjunct Pluto. We’re transforming as we recharge, like a chrysalis.
Today’s Sagittarius Moon picks up on Jupiter’s tango with Pluto. It’s a day to explore themes around power and control, faith and meaning. It’s also a day to work and get things done. With Saturn back in Capricorn, we have our work cut out for us.
