We start the week with a practical Virgo Moon, one that wants to get things checked off the to-do list. With Mercury still in contact with Saturn, there’s more pressure to set limits and boundaries, put things into order, and create more fairness and equity.
Mercury is also at the very last degree of Libra today, a place it was last on September 26 in the week before its retrograde and where it revisited on October 27. It’s a day to tie up loose threads and reflect back on what we’ve learned during this Mercury Retrograde cycle.
That said, we’ve got other things on the horizon this week beyond Mercury returning to Scorpio. On November 13 Mars turns direct at 15 degrees Aries, a sign that gives Mars a lot of strength, power, and even aggression. But Mars has been retrograde since September 9, so we’ve not had as much strength and drive since then. Our actions have been muted or they’ve demanded that we do things differently. As we get closer to the direct station, we may be feeling more impatient or restless, like pent up energy building up for a release.
Jupiter also makes the last of its three conjunctions to Pluto this week, too, one of the features of 2020 astrology and an integral part of this concentration of energy in the sign of Capricorn along side Saturn and Pluto. The world levers will shift and turn over the coming days. There’s a focus on power, structures, and government.
Lastly, we’re wrapping up the lunar month in advance of a Scorpio New Moon on November 15. In all, lots going on this week. Stories are ending while others are beginning. The cosmic gears are shifting.
