Another day, another cosmic shift. Chiron and Saturn are in the spotlight as Chiron arrives in Aries and Saturn turns retrograde in Capricorn. While Chiron touches on more abstract themes, it’s Saturn’s turn that feels tangible, real.
We start the week fresh off an Aries New Moon, one that’s ushering in a lunar month filled with twists, turns, and radical new beginnings. Then tomorrow, April 17, Saturn turns retrograde, underlining our Saturn in Capricorn journey towards greater maturity.
Happy Aries New Moon! This is the time in the lunar calendar when we kick off a new cycle. As the first sign of the zodiac, Aries takes the lead. It moves things forward. It’s action as well as the courage to start anew.
The Moon rounds out its time in Pisces and we start the weekend in the dark of the moon. Although the days before a new moon tend to be quiet, we’re on the cusp of a fiery, unpredictable Aries New Moon. Emotions are heating up; we’re ready to run forward.
Today’s Pisces Moon is a reminder that Chiron is on the verge of leaving Pisces, a sign its occupied for the last seven years. During this time we’ve struggled with our pain, our wounds, our suffering. Do we still have faith that it will all work out?
Of all the elements, it’s element earth that’s getting a lot of play right now. Earth invites us to ground, get nourished, and build something for ourselves. With Venus in Taurus harmonizing with Mars in Capricorn, we have an opportunity to find our real value.
