We start the week off with a Capricorn Moon, one that’s picking up on the determination and focus of Mars trine Saturn. It’s a day to not only think about the future, set goals and ambitions for yourself, but take the practical steps to move towards them.
We’re also coming up to tomorrow’s yearly opposition between the Sun and Neptune. Right now, Neptune is in Pisces, the last sign of the zodiac, a sign that bridges the space between this world and the next. As a result, we’re feeling a little unmoored and like the veil between this world and the next is a little thing. Pisces is a water sign and water is the element of emotions. (I dreamt of a tsunami last night.) Neptune also can make us very sensitive to the feelings and the emotions of others as well as ourselves.
It’s important to know that Neptune is a planet of universality. Its role as an agent of consciousness is to help us to understand the feelings of others. It teaches us empathy, compassion, and that the sufferings of others are no different than our own — they are universal to all humanity. The Pisces Full Moon on September 14 will put a spotlight on Neptune. So, get ready to feel, empathize, and find compassion this week.
Also, I’m doing a weekly Facebook Live today, September 9, at 5:30 pm EDT on my Empowering Astrology Facebook page. (That’s 2:30 pm Los Angeles, 10:30 pm London, 7:30 am Sydney September 10, and 10:30 am Auckland on September 10.) You can also catch the replay on my YouTube channel. I’ll be talking about this week’s astrology, Neptune, and the upcoming Pisces Full Moon.
