We start the weekend with a pleasure loving Moon in Taurus, albeit one that’s digging into themes of trust, stability, and safety. By Saturday and Sunday, however, a Gemini Moon makes for playful energy. Our calendar may be busy with plans, dates, and travel.
In the meantime, today’s Taurus Moon is a reminder to take care of ourselves. It’s a Moon that craves touch, warmth, and emotional connection. True, the Taurus Moon loves good food and other creature comforts, but it’s a reminder to find safety of solid ground if we’ve otherwise felt shaken or unsure.
It’s also important to note that Pluto will turn direct on Sunday, September 30, at 18 Capricorn. And if you know your astrology, any time a planet stations retrograde or direct (which is to say, appears to stand still before turning direction), that planet saturates the collective with its energy.
We’re steeped in Pluto right now. We’re experiencing life though the lens of shadow and light, the darkness outside as well as within. Pluto is a planet that connects us directly to the soul’s experience through many lifetimes. In order to grow and learn, to make new choices, sometimes we have to confront something unpleasant. Therein is the alchemy. Pluto helps us to put light where there was darkness.
