Today’s Aquarius Moon highlights the communities we belong to and the friends we keep. What connects us? What divides us? With Mars also in Aquarius, we’ve been more aware of what divides us. Be inspired by positive Mars to find unity with others.

It’s also the last day that Mars is in Aquarius after the better part of six months. This is quite long time for Mars to be in one sign — usually it’s six weeks instead of six months. But Mars’s time in Aquarius, especially its retrograde from June to August, touched on more than a few political nerves. We’ve had to reconsider what’s fair, what will bring us together as a collective instead of break us apart?

The last day that a planet is in a sign is usually a time to reflect and integrate what we’ve learned. Mars may give you more than a few insights about community and friendships — aspects of life that Aquarius presides over — before Mars moves onto Pisces tomorrow.

With Mars changing signs on November 15, we’re marking another planetary change in a month distinguished by it’s numerous changes in sign and direction. On Friday, November 16, Venus turns direct and Mercury turns retrograde. When one planet changes signs or directions, the story changes. But more than one planet? Don’t be surprised if November is filled with big changes, some of which we may have already experienced.
