Jupiter turns direct today!
In case you didn’t know, we had five planets in retrograde motion. It’s not uncommon to have four retrograde planets at a time, but what made this period a little unusual is that both Mercury and Mars, two personal planets (aka has more of a personal connection to our lives), were retrograde. So, what’s Jupiter?
Jupiter is faith, belief, and philosophy. Jupiter, along with Saturn, is a causal planet, meaning it regulates the causal or karmic level of reality (cause and effect). Jupiter is the laws of man, religion, and the drive or passion to explore the world and discover new ways of thinking. The shadow side of Jupiter is self righteousness, fundamentalism, and narrow minded thinking.
Jupiter has been in the sign of Virgo since August 2015, meaning that Jupiter’s natural need for growth and exploration has been happening through the sign of health, order, service, and diligent hard work. We all have Virgo somewhere in our chart, so depending on where, the Jupiter station will be activating a narrative that has been ongoing since last September.
Also, if you’re a Sag or a Pisces, you’re going to start to see some forward movement after four months of retrograde review.
