The Scorpio Moon not only takes us into the weekend, but a Scorpio Full Moon is shining a light on themes of intimacy, sexuality, power, and manipulation, uncomfortably so. It’s a Moon to confront our past, especially with Mars in Cancer.
Of all of life’s many many experiences and the twelve zodiac signs that correspond to them, there has to be a sign that takes us into life’s darker shades. Scorpio brings us into the realm of the psyche. It leads us into our fears, our vulnerabilities. But it also gives us the power and courage to confront and transform.
If something emotionally uncomfortable or difficult is coming up, don’t shy away. Scorpio can bring great healing, but we have to go through the emotional passage first. As I mentioned previously, with Mars in Cancer, we may be feeling emotions with deep roots in the past, our childhoods, our parents, our families. We may be remembering something unexpected. Secrets may be spilling out.
Venus is also coming up to a conjunction to Uranus in Taurus, an aspect that may bring a rush of new experiences as well as seismic opportunities to break from the past, from convention, or tradition. Our relationships may be getting a shake up as well. Uranus is a planet that needs authenticity and whatever we’ve been holding back on or repressing may come tumbling out. And since Venus rules Uranus in Taurus, we may be getting another look into what this whole new Uranus in Taurus era is about and what we’re working through for the next seven years.
