Venus and Mars switch signs today and Taurus Season changes gears. While Venus returns home to Taurus, slowing us down and helping us to enjoy the pleasure of life, Mars’s arrival in Cancer means that we’re more emotional for the next six weeks.
Let’s start with Venus. In Taurus it help us to connect more deeply to Taurus’s themes of money, resource, and ownership. It wants to enjoy life, especially the comforts of earthly living — good food, nice stuff. It wants to build a home. But Venus comes up against Uranus in Taurus and gives us further insight into what this new Uranus in Taurus era is all about.
See, with Uranus in Taurus for the next seven years, we’re more keenly aware of our needs — at least that’s the point. Do we have enough? Do we feel safe? Venus’s conjunction to Uranus also means that we may have to leave our comfort zone over the coming days, especially anything that we’ve been in a rut about, separating from what’s old and heading off into a new direction.
On the other hand, there’s Mars in Cancer, a sign that has an emotional instinct to keep things the same. Things are a bit push, pull at the moment. We’re feeling cautious and conservative, but all signs are pointing towards change — and change that may be revolutionary.
