The Taurus Moon takes us into the weekend, a moon that wants us to slow down and enjoy life’s simple pleasures. Although it may be hard if social distancing or staying indoors, make time nature. Or, make your favorite foods and focus on the comforts of home.
We live in interesting times, so we have to adapt our circumstances to the astrology. Many people are home right now, especially those who are in cities like me. Something I mentioned on my weekly astrology video is that the North Node of the Moon is in Cancer right now. If you know the North Node, it’s like our spiritual compass pointing us in the direction of where we need to go. And what is Cancer? Home. Family. Food. Care.
Taurus and Cancer are signs that have a lot of affinity for each other. (In astrology we would say that the Moon, the ruler of Cancer, is exalted in Taurus.) So, as we go into the weekend — although it may not feel as such — it’s a reminder to slow down, focus on what’s important, and to be in the home.
Also, Mars is wrapping up its time in Capricorn this weekend, a planet that pushed a lot of world events in motion over the last month. We may be collectively at a turning point as Mars moves into Aquarius on March 30 and meets up with Saturn on March 31.
If you need some extra TLC, I’m continuing my daily guided 30-minute meditations at 5:30 pm EDT. (For those who’ve participated before, it’s the same Zoom link.) To register and the details, click here.
Hi Katie, I am wondering why I feel such a sense of serenity and peace amongst chaos even with our family of six being affected by what is happening. I feel like Mother Nature is having her day and we are being realigned to where our values should be. Simplistic of life removes so many stresses .. what is this saying and am I being too complacent going forward.. I’m confused by my reaction. I appreciate your posts and value your input. Thank you. Claire. Please stay safe.
Hi Claire, I’ve been feeling the same way. I’ve been calm and in a state of, “it’s going to be what it’s going to be.” Of course there are real concerns and I’ve been in isolation for over a week, but have been observing instead of panicking. Yes, this is a time of profound reorientation for many.
