The Sun prepares to leave Pisces, closing out the astrological year and transitioning us into the symbolic energies of spring and renewal. When the Sun arrives in Aries later today, it is a kick off, a leap forward into the energies of the upcoming eclipses.
Aries is the alpha, the start of a journey that will wind its way back to Pisces, the omega, over the course of 12 months. With Mars in Aquarius, this will be an Aries Season that sets out to find community and connection, common goals and leadership. But this will also be an Aries Season that leans heavily on Pisces, ironically, like one foot in a new life and one foot in an old one when Mars switches into Pisces on March 22.
It’s not an overstatement to highlight the power of eclipses and the importance of understanding that we are in a week that leads us to our first eclipse in a set of eclipses. We may sense that there is something on the horizon or that something is preparing to change or move. Major events can coincide with eclipse season, including personal choices and decisions that send us off in a new direction.
