After the intensities of yesterday’s Mars square Uranus and the Scorpio Moon, the Moon arrives in Sagittarius, kicking off a weekend centered on learning, wisdom, and faith. It’s a weekend to explore and dream about visiting far off destinations.

Sagittarius is a sign that helps us to make sense of the world. For that it’s philosophy, knowledge, travel, and even religion. So, after all the ups and downs of this eclipse season, what do we still believe in? Where do we put our faith?

Do keep in mind that we’re only a few days away from the July 16 lunar eclipse at 24 degrees Capricorn. With its opposition of the Sun and Pluto in Capricorn, it’s quite possible that a lot of our shadow material is coming up right now — our fears, the things we don’t want to face, deep emotions like shame. Pluto gives us a powerful opportunity to face something and transform it for good, putting light where there was darkness, turning lead into gold. (Read more about Pluto in On Pluto.)

For that reason, I’m teaching a 90-minute webinar, Pluto: Turning Shadows into Light, tomorrow, July 13, at 4:30 pm EDT. In it you’ll learn about Pluto and how it’s a force of soul alchemy. Even if you can’t join the webinar live, you can still register to receive the video replay and ask questions about the material over email. Learn more and register here.

PS — Are you in NEW YORK CITY? Interested in a monthly or twice-a-month meditation group? I’m putting out feelers to see who is interested in a meditation + astrology meetup. Email empoweringastrology@gmail.com if you’re interested.
