Another Taurus Moon day, a sign that puts us in touch with the energies of the earth. A Taurus Moon needs to feel safe, stable. It needs to experience the pleasure of living, from good food to the comfort of things around us.
As I mentioned yesterday, Venus is over in Aquarius, which makes for an interesting place for the Taurus Moon to link its energies. If Aquarius is humanity, the collective, community, then the Moon in Taurus is a reminder of what unites us as humans — cooking and sharing a meal with loved ones, having a place to call home and put down roots.
In other news, Mars is wrapping up its stay in Scorpio, a sign it’s been digging deep into since December 9. Driven and motivated by intimacy, Mars in Scorpio has been a look at how we connect with others on an emotional level as well as how we trust and reveal our secret selves. Come tomorrow, Mars will move into Sagittarius and our drive, our fire will express itself through a need to travel and explore. More on that later.
Also, heads up, we’re getting increasingly close to eclipse season, which will officially kick off on January 31 will a lunar eclipse at 11 degrees Leo/Aquarius. Eclipses, tied to the energies of fate, usher in energies that move us into a new chapter of our lives — sometimes swiftly so. You may already be feeling the rumbles, the sense that life is about to shift. Perhaps it already has as eclipse energy can manifest a month or so before. Stay tuned.
