Venus, the planet of love and value, rounds out its time in magical Pisces. Here it’s reveled in a love that is both beautiful and healing. It’s found value in compassion. Tomorrow, when Venus arrives in Aries, we’ll see a shift in focus in our relationships.
When I say relationships, I mean all relationships. Venus is a planet that helps us socialize. It’s energized by partnership and interaction. It shows up in how we connect, whether it’s the person we exchange pleasantries with in the elevator to how we relate to a romantic partner.
Aries is a very different sign for Venus to be in compared to Pisces. Instead of being receptive, which is to say a Venus that attracts or brings people in, it’s a Venus that goes out on the hunt. It’s a Venus that’s ruled by Mars — action, leadership, drive. Something to keep in mind as we go into a week dedicated for romance and relationships.
Where Venus was when you were born says a lot about what you’re attracted to as well as how you socialize and interact. It describes what you love and how you want to be loved. (You can get a quick rundown on what this in my Venus Through the Signs guide.)
I’ll be discussing what your Venus means in my webinar next week, The Astrology of Love & Relationships, on February 12. I’ll also be discussing how the Sun, Moon, Mars, and Mercury shows up in your relationships — from a lover to a friendship. For example, Mercury is communication style and the Moon is emotional need and temperament. Details and registration here.
