Mars meets up with the South Node in Capricorn. We may be dealing with forces or events that challenge us. Planets on the Nodes have an air of eclipse energy to them and, as a result, there’s a deeper story brewing about how we take action and use our Mars.

Planets are energy. They are keys to understanding different facets of life as well as human existence. As one of the personal planets, Mars speaks to the energy of motivation and vitality, our ability to lead and move forward. It’s courage and bravery, too. But, like all planets and signs, Mars has a flip side, and reveals how we express anger and aggression.

We all have a relationship with the energy of Mars based on where Mars was in the sky when we were born. So when Mars meets up with an electric point in the sky such as the South Node of the Moon, we’re dealing with possible events and experiences that bring out our Mars and help us take awareness of our past history with Mars. For example, if bravery and courage is something that we struggle with, how can we transform that story this week with Mars on the South Node? (Not sure where your Mars is? You can look up your Mars sign in this online table.)

Mars energy is a bit at odds with the quiet tranquility of Pisces Season and the Pisces Moon. But when the Moon switches into Aries midday, we may see a shift in the astro weather and action may be required. Plus, keep in mind that Mars has been activating the December 26, 2019 solar eclipse degree. It’s worth reflecting how events how have threads that link back to the New Year.

Plus, we’re starting to wrap up our Saturn in Capricorn story over the next few weeks as Saturn prepares to dip into Aquarius on March 21 for the first time in 28 years. It’s also worth taking a look back on what you’ve been working on since the start of 2018. (Need a refresher? Check out my Saturn in Capricorn: Sign by Sign guide.)

You can also join me on March 12 for a 90-minute look at Saturn in Aquarius and what this change in one of the big hands of our personal clock means. Details and registration here.
