Mars joins Pluto in Aquarius, a conjunction that marks the start of a major chapter, one that will reform, transform, and overhaul a key area of our lives. Mars inspires and motivates, but it also provokes. Look for a shift in tone, a push to make a significant change.
This conjunction can’t be underestimated. It’s one of the key astrological alignments for 2024. It brings us front and center to Pluto’s time in Aquarius, which takes us into the next 20 years. (Read Pluto in Aquarius: Sign by Sign.)
Pluto is like a forge, remolding and reshaping us. It helps us to turn lead into gold, shadows into light, to bring awareness to our unconscious. It is a slow-moving evolutionary planet, which is to say, Pluto fosters non-negotiable evolutionary change.
I realize these are big statements. Pluto’s energy can run in the background, but Mars is more of an instigator, a catalyst for Pluto’s evolutionary energy. Where do you want to turn lead into gold? To make a structural change? To overhaul a system? Mars gives you the spark.
This is high energy astrology. Give it a positive outlet. The Moon is in Taurus as well, so there may be an emotional quality to our experiences or we may be more conscious of our security and stability.
That said, Pluto in Aquarius is an axis or pole shift. We may not see it right away or in our day-to-day lives. But when we look back at 2023-2024, we should see the shift.
If you are in AUSTRALIA or NZ, this forecast applies approximately for February 15, 2024.
