Astro Daily: December 9, 2019

After eight weeks, Mercury finally leaves Scorpio for Sagittarius, bringing us a breath of fresh air. In Scorpio, Mercury was a natural investigator, but in Sagittarius it wants adventure and exploration. We’re seeking out wisdom and new horizons in the coming weeks.

Do keep in mind that Mercury’s pointing us towards Jupiter newly in Capricorn. If we’re in search of knowledge and new perspectives, then there’s a seriousness to things. We may even be building a new vision of ourselves and the world this month or looking to make an important trip abroad.

We’re also coming up to a Gemini Full Moon on Thursday, December 12, so we may have the travel bug more than usual this week. Both Sagittarius and Gemini are travel signs. They need to get out, explore, and do things. They are also signs of learning and communication, so we certainly have a lot more to say this week than we did when Mercury was in tight-lipped Scorpio.

In the meantime, the Moon’s in Taurus today. With Venus in Capricorn, we’re focusing on our earthly lives — money, stability, security, and even our ambitions. It’s a week to set some really powerful financial goals as Venus comes up to conjunction to Saturn and Pluto in Capricorn.
