Jupiter arrives in Capricorn, joining Venus, Saturn, Pluto, and the South Node of the Moon, also in Capricorn. With so much emphasis on one sign, ambition, career, structure, responsibility, and accountability are now major themes into new year.
Capricorn is the sign of hustle, meaning that push or that grind that we all do in order to reach our goals as well as our highest potential. It’s also the commitment and dedication needed to work every day to get closer to these goals and potential. As you can imagine, Capricorn speaks to career and the place we have in the world. And now with Jupiter in Capricorn until the end of 2020, there’s an opportunity to grow our career and ambitions and expand our place in the world. (Read my Jupiter in Capricorn: Sign by Sign guide for more information.)
So, there’s a particular place in our chart, depending on where Capricorn is, that we’re possibly seeing an expanded potential and new opportunity. The caveat is that Saturn and Pluto are also in Capricorn and we’ll have a Capricorn New Moon solar eclipse on December 26. In order to open up to these new opportunities, we may have to face old fears and limits that have been holding us back.
I’ll be talking about Jupiter in Capricorn as well as December’s eclipse season in my weekly Facebook Live on Monday, December 2 at 6 pm EST. (That’s 3 pm Los Angeles, 11 pm London, 10 am Sydney on 12/3, and 12 pm Auckland on 12/3.) You can catch the replay on my Empowering Astrology YouTube channel.
Also, I’m pleased to announce that I’m one of the speakers for the Starstruck 2020 Global Astrology Conference hosted by the Astro Twins, two astrologers that I’m super honored to be invited by. There’s a deal that they are running today only to get all the speaker talks when it launches on January 1, 2020 for only $19.97. Please go to this link for Starstruck and use FIREPOWER when you register.
