We go into the weekend with an Aquarius Moon. With Saturn newly in Aquarius, we may feel like we’re in a new time. Pay attention to the stories that are coming up as they will thread their way into 2023. Plus, Jupiter changes signs on December 19.
Yes, in a week already containing a solar eclipse and Saturn’s shift from one sign to another, we also have more to navigate. After spending a year in Capricorn, where it met up with Pluto and Saturn and made an indelible impact on the astrology of 2020, Jupiter arrives in Aquarius.
If you have the luxury of being able to look up into the night sky, you may have noticed two bright stars getting closer and closer to each other over the past few months. Except these are not stars; they’re planets. Jupiter and Saturn to be exact.
Their historic conjunction, which only happens every 20 years, will form on Monday, December 21. But what really makes their rendezvous unique is that this conjunction shifts from Earth to element Air after two hundred years. Well, except for that Jupiter and Saturn in Libra conjunction in 1980-1981. (Fun fact, it’s the first in Aquarius since 1405.)
