Welcome to Virgo Season, the sign healing and wellness, service and dedication. Virgo inspires us to pay attention to the details, to organize our day so it flows perfectly. Virgo is also the nurse, the caretaker, the healer. It’s a sign that quietly runs the world.
In our yearly journey through the zodiac, each sign helps us to take a step forward in understanding ourselves as well as the people and the world around us. In Leo Season, we learn about the power of creativity and talent. But creativity and talent are nothing without practice and craft. When the Sun moves into Virgo, as it did today, we take that creative energy and put it to work until it is perfect.
Similarly, we move from the Sun that gives life to the world, and we harvest it through food. In fact Virgo Season is the harvest (at least it is in the northern hemisphere) and it’s time to sort through all we’ve created and grown to prepare for the coming winter.
No matter where you are in the world, Virgo Season is a time to get back to work, to go to school, to take a critical or editorial look at anything that needs to be made better or perfected. Use the coming weeks to organize closets, to clean, and to get a handle on your schedule.
So what projects need your attention? Where can you bring order to disorder? How can you take better care of your body? What needs more practice? How can you help others or volunteer? This is your season.
Lastly, the Moon is in Aquarius today. There’s a focus on friendships and community. It’s a day to tend to your social circle or make connections through various groups. Plus, the Moon will touch on the July 27 full moon eclipse. We may see or experience something that links us to that time.
